Lincoln Woods Barracks

At 4:15 PM, Troopers arrested Miguel Angel Cosme Gonzalez, age 46, of 115 Silver Lake Avenue, Providence, RI on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Embezzlement originating out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a disabled motor vehicle on Route 195 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.

At 4:45 PM, Troopers arrested Martin Almonte, age 22, of 63 Benedict Street Apt. 1, Providence, RI for 1) Leaving the Scene of an Accident- Damage to Attended Vehicle. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the subject subsequently turning himself in to the Lincoln Barracks. The subject was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth District Court date.

At 6:00 PM, Troopers arrested Jhobanye Mendez, age 29, of 450 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI for 1) Domestic Violence- Simple Assault, 2) Domestic Violence- Disorderly Conduct, and 3) Refusal to Relinquish Telephone. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a domestic disturbance and subsequently locating the vehicle on Route 99. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment where he will be presented as a bail violator.

At 10:30 PM, Troopers arrested Janet Rodriguez, age 59, of 527 Manton Ave, Providence RI, on a 1) Providence Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Determination of Attorney on the original charge Possession of Schedule I to V originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Westminster Street, in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to Mariam Hospital for evaluation, released, processed at State Police Headquarters, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution - Women's Intake Center.

At 1:00 AM, Troopers arrested Ryan McVeigh, age 33, of 83 Old River Rd, Lincoln RI, for 1) Possession of a Schedule I to V - Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 2) Possession of a Schedule I to V - Controlled Substance (Cocaine), and 3) Driving after Suspension of License - Certain Violations. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Eddy St, in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and held pending morning arraignment.

At 3:45 AM, Troopers arrested Osvaldo Vasquez, age 52, of 10 Josephine St, Providence RI for 1) Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle, 2) Domestic Violence - Violation of No Contact Oder. 3) Obstruction, and 4) Providence Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Larceny from a Person originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Charles Street, in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

At 3:45 AM, Troopers arrested Rasia Taft, age 36, of 42 1st Ave, Woonsocket RI for 1) Domestic Violence - Violation of No Contact Order. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Charles Street, in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

At 4:29 AM, Troopers arrested Alex Salazar, age 28, of 549 Willow St, Woonsocket RI 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs - 1st Offense, BAC Unknown 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle accident investigation of Route 146, in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
