Memorial Day Weekend - FREE Swim

Saturday, Sunday, Monday, May 25, 26, 27 | All ages
All League City Pools will be open for free at following times:
Hometown Pool: 1 - 6 p.m. - 1001 E League City Pkwy.
Walker Pool: 1 - 7 p.m. - 450 W Walker St.

Astronomy in the Park

Saturday, May 4 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. | All ages
This free program is open to anyone who wants to explore the night skies. We encourage those attending to bring binoculars if you have them. Telescopes will also be available for use. Astronomy in the Park runs from September 2023 through June 2024 on the first Saturday of each month at Rustic Oaks Park (5101 Orange Blossom Ct).

Nature with Kristine

Saturday, May 11 | For kids
Kristine Rivers is hosting two FREE nature events for kids on Saturday, May 11.
• Morning: From 9-11 a.m. come to Rustic Oaks Park for a nature BINGO!
• Afternoon: From 2-4 p.m. come to Heritage Park for Nature Weaving.

Strength And Conditioning

Wednesdays, May 8 to May 29 from 5 to 6 p.m. | For ages 50+
This class is designed for individuals 50 years and older to assist in building up their strength and overall fitness. It is geared to helping with increased mobility, balance, and individual-based corrective exercises. This class is taught by an ISSA Master Trainer who is Functional Movement Screen and Medfit Certified with osteoporosis, joint replacement, and arthritis exercise specialization. Registration can be done in person at Hometown Heroes Park or at this link and click on "Senior Programs".

Pickleball Strokes & Shots

Thursdays, May 9 - May 30 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. | Ages 18+ We will break down key strokes of the game and we will be certain you have all the tools you need to be a successful and winning pickleball player! Registration is $49 per person and class is open to ages 18+. Register here or in person at Hometown Heroes Park

Pickleball Skills, Drills, & Competition

Thursday, May 9 - May 30 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. | For ages 18+
Players will get a fun workout with drills to enhance your on-court skills! Each class will provide key workouts to improve your on-court success and stamina! Registration is $49 per person and class is open to ages 18+. Register here or in person at Hometown Heroes Park

How Tea is Made

Thursday, May 9 from 5 to 6 p.m. | For ages 12+
Dive into the art of tea-making, uncover the health benefits of unique herbs, and brew up some fun vibes! Join us for a tea-rrific time blending flavors and creating memories. This experience promises a perfect blend of knowledge and enjoyment-because tea is not just a drink, it's an experience! Every participant will create their very own tea blend. The session fee is $35. Register here.

Adult Men's Basketball

New this summer, we will have our Adult Men's Basketball league! The league will consist of 8 games. Practices and games will be held Friday evenings and/or Saturday mornings. If you are interested in playing and don't have a team, please email Eric Rich.

League Season: June 7 to August 3
Ages: 18 and older
Cost: Residents: $250 | Non-residents: $500 (per team)
Location: Hometown Heroes Park
Registration: Residents: April 10 | Non-residents: April 24

Summer Pool Rentals

Rentals for the Summer 2024 pool season are now open. Pool rentals will need to be done in person. For pricing and more information view our Pool Rental page.

Summer Recreation Programs and Baseball

Registration for Summer Baseball and Summer Recreation Programs will open Wednesday, April 10, at 8 a.m. for League City residents. Our Recreation programs included, but not limited to:
