President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak.

The Head of State expressed gratitude for the allocation of the largest defense support package from the United Kingdom to date in the amount of half a billion pounds, which contains the most necessary weapons for Ukraine: Storm Shadow and other types of missiles, hundreds of armored vehicles and watercraft, and ammunition.

"I am grateful to the UK for such a strong demonstration of support and for the willingness to further develop defense cooperation, especially with a focus on air defense, maritime and long-range capabilities," the President emphasized.

The leaders also discussed the need to create an effective model for the confiscation of Russian assets.

The interlocutors paid special attention to their expectations for the inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland and the 4th European Political Community Summit, which will be held this time in the UK.
