The meeting was attended by representatives from ministries and administrative bodies, who also serve as members of this Working Team.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review proposed activities for the current year within the initiative and suggest areas of cooperation for drafting a new Action Plan for the Common Regional Market for the upcoming four-year period.
Participants reaffirmed the significance of regional cooperation as a crucial foreign policy priority and underscored intensified efforts within the Berlin Process, increasingly influential on the regional and international stage.
The participants confirmed the significance of regional cooperation as one of the key foreign policy priorities, as well as intensified efforts within the Berlin Process. It was emphasised that enhanced regional integration is a guaranteed step closer to the EU Single Market, with the initiative's activities facilitating the region's convergence with EU states.
Proposed areas of cooperation aim to provide benefits to the Western Balkans region, fostering greater connectivity, circulation, and mobility without hindrance, along with access to the regional labour market and exchange of experiences and knowledge. These efforts seek to enhance the functioning of the regional market and gradually align it with the European market.
Agreement was reached on continuing cooperation and further communication to intensify collaboration within the Berlin Process.
