The Vice-President of the National Assembly Rositsa Kirova spoke with the children participating in the social information campaign "On both sides of the border". At the initiative of the Bulgarian Memory Foundation, more than 30 small artists from the Republic of North Macedonia and Bulgaria create drawings that show that there is no room for division between the two peoples.

The beautiful words "Change", "Unity", "Future", "Tolerance", "Friendship" are written on your T-shirts and are your message to all of us - adults and politicians on both sides, said Rositsa Kirova to the children. Your initiative "On both sides of the border" makes me think about the fact that with your creativity you are erasing the borders between the Republic of North Macedonia and Bulgaria, she said. In the words of the Vice-President of the National Assembly, children are those who move a few steps ahead of politicians and the political elite and can be the ambassadors of friendship between the two countries.

I understand that young people want to live in a world where good neighbourliness, tolerance, friendship and culture are a common basis for development, Rositsa Kirova said. You can set an example for politicians in the Republic of North Macedonia and Bulgaria to achieve what we all want - to be tolerant, to build good neighbourly relations based on mutual respect, understanding and moral values, she added.

Thei Vce-Presidentof the National Assembly congratulated the Chairman of the Bulgarian Memory Foundation Dr. Milen Vrabevski on the initiative for the children of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia to create together, to get to know each other and to create friendships.

The children participating in the social information campaign "On both sides of the border" visited the building of the Bulgarian Parliament, got acquainted with the work of the MPs and followed part of the plenary session.
