Women's Health: The Future We Deserve launches on International Women's Day 2024

ITN Business, the commercial content production arm of ITN, has partnered with International Women's Day (IWD) for the first time, to produce a digital campaign focussed on the future of women's health, to support the IWD 2024 theme of inspire inclusion. Women's Health: The Future We Deserve will go live on the ITN Business hub this Friday 8th March, IWD 2024, supported by a LinkedIn campaign.

The digital campaign is anchored by presenter and journalist Louise Minchin and features a mixture of editorial and sponsored content. It will also feature thought leadership from The Women's Health Ambassador for England Professor Dame Lesley Regan, Dr Nighat Arif, Wellbeing of Women, Coppafeel, Bloody Good Period, and The Royal Osteoporosis Society and more.

According to the House of Lords Library, the UK has the largest gender health gap in the G20 and the 12th largest globally. Although women in the UK live an average of 3.7 years longer than men, they spend most of that time (3 years on average) in poor health.

Woven throughout the broader theme of women's healthcare in the UK are conversations about inequities in access, care, support and outcomes experienced by women from various backgrounds and diverse ethnicities. The programme focuses on positive work in action, highlighting progress that offers hope to current and future generations of women.

Shannon Fairchild, Senior Producer: "It has been such a privilege collaborating on this programme with individuals and organisations who are real heroes of women's health, paving the way for more equitable care for the next generation."

Isabella Sharp, Programme Director said: "It is inspiring to see the bravery by many women in our case studies. We hope this programme will raise awareness and drive action towards a more equitable health future for women."

The campaign will also feature six sponsors with Axa Health, Besins, GE Healthcare, Novartis, Softcat and Theramex.
