Nagoya University Museum exhibits shown at Nagoya City Science Museum

On January 29th, as part of an event aimed at involving schoolchildren in science through interactive experiences, a number of exhibits from the Nagoya University Museum were shown at the Nagoya City Science Museum. Nagoya University Museum staff and researchers guided visitors through hands-on experiences with snakes, minerals and archival drawing.

The Nagoya City Science Museum was established in 1962, houses the second largest planetarium in the world with a diameter of 35 meters, and is visited by well over a million people every year from Japan and around the world.

The Nagoya University Museum, located on the Nagoya University Higashiyama Campus, houses a variety of permanent and temporary exhibits covering a wide range of themes and is open to the public from 10:00-16:00, Tuesday-Saturday.
