2023 State of the City Address
Celebrate Cypress month continues to bring the community together! Last week, we hosted the 2023 State of the City, featuring remarks from Mayor Anne Mallari.
We were proud to welcome residents, community partners, business stakeholders and dignitaries for an evening of celebration.
During her speech titled "Cypress is Calling", Mayor Mallari emphasized the great work done by city employees and announced exciting projects coming to the community, including the expansion of the Baroldi Sycamore Park, the new Arnold Cypress Park, a $25 million investment in flood protection, important public safety technology, robust reserves of $200 million, and more!
But her message didn't end there. Mayor Mallari concluded the evening by issuing a collective call to action, urging all Cypress residents and business owners to share in the responsibility to positively shape the city's legacy.
