Good afternoon. Let me start today's briefing.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Cho Tae-yul will visit Japan from March 21 to 22 to attend the 11th Korea-Japan-China Trilateral Foreign Ministers' Meeting.

After attending an official welcome dinner hosted by Japan on Friday, March 21, Foreign Minister Cho will hold the 11th Korea-Japan-China Trilateral Foreign Ministers' Meeting with Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs Iwaya Takeshi and Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi on Saturday, March 22.

In the upcoming meeting, the Foreign Ministers of the three countries will review the progress in trilateral cooperation since the 9th Trilateral Summit in May last year and exchange comprehensive views on the way forward for the development of trilateral cooperation as well as other major regional and international issues.

On the occasion of this meeting, bilateral talks between Korea and Japan, as well as between Korea and China, are also scheduled to take place.
