Board of Supervisors Approve Three Proclamations

Firstly, they declared the week of May 6 through 10, 2024, as "Economic Development Week" in Pinal County. Economic Development Week was created by the International Economic Development Council in 2016 in order to increase awareness of local programs and services that create jobs, advance career development opportunities, and increase the quality of life in our communities. James Smith, Economic & Workforce Development Director, is pictured below left with the Board.

Secondly, the Board adopted the week of May 5 through May 11, 2024, as "Public Service Recognition Week." The Board chose to take a selfie with all public service employees present at the meeting standing to be recognized below.

Finally, they declared May 5 through May 11, 2024, as the 55th Annual "Professional Municipal Clerks Week." The declaration expresses gratitude to the "Professional County Clerks of the Board" for their invaluable contributions towards ensuring efficient county service operations within their offices.
