Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and spouse leave for Australia

On 17 February 2024, H.E. General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and H.E. Mrs. Linda Hurley, spouse, leaving for Australia after an Official Visit to Thailand during 13-17 Feb 2024. H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and spouse, represented the Royal Thai Government, together with H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, and Mr. Nattapong Lathapipat, Acting Director-General of the Department of Protocol, bid them farewell at Mae Fah Luang - Chiang Rai International Airport.

The Governor-General's Official visit reflects the close relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Commonwealth of Australia, from the highest level of the Thai Royal Family, the governmental as well as people-to-people ties. This Official Visit also provided an opportunity for Thailand and Australia to deepen mutual cooperation as Strategic Partners, particularly in the economic and socio-cultural areas.
