Willkie advised IK Partners on its acquisition of a minority stake in A-SAFE, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of industrial polymer safety barrier systems.
On April 23, IK announced that it acquired a minority stake in A-SAFE from the company founders, the Smith family, through its IK Partnership II Fund, which is now fully committed.
Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Yorkshire, United Kingdom, A-SAFE is a leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial polymer safety barrier systems used in factories and warehouses.
IK Partners is a European private equity firm focused on investments in the Benelux, DACH, France, Nordics and the UK.
The Willkie team was led by partners Eduardo Fernandez and Philip Coletto and included partners Daniel Gendron and Paul Lombard with assistance from associates Megan Gairns, Ashley Braham and Daniel Pront.
