New ABA book by Chemerinsky examines the Supreme Court's 2020-21 term

CHICAGO, Nov. 17, 2021 - A new book from the American Bar Association's Judicial Division, The Supreme Court in Transition: October Term 2020, looks at the U.S. Supreme Court's 2020-21 term, explaining each case in a neutral manner, neither praising nor criticizing the decisions.

Written by Erwin Chemerinsky, dean of the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, the book looks back at major cases addressed by the court and provides an informed focus on the implications of those decisions. About the author

Erwin Chemerinsky is the dean and Jesse H. Choper Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. He is the author of 14 other books, including leading casebooks and treatises on constitutional law, criminal procedure and federal courts. He frequently argues appellate cases, including at the U.S. Supreme Court. In January 2021, he was chosen as president-elect of the Association of American Law Schools.
