03/28/2024 - A Section of 15th Avenue Will Be Closed to Traffic on Tuesday April 2 For a Month

A Section of 15th Avenue SW Near Capitol Campus to be Closed Beginning April 2
Construction crews will close a section of 15th Avenue SW between Capitol Way S and Columbia Street SW. The closure will start on Tuesday, April 2, and continue until May 3. The closure is happening to facilitate the required street improvements associated with the new structure under construction on the campus.

Properties that access the alley thru this section of 15th Avenue SW will continue to have access to the alley from 17th Ave SW. Waste and recycle collection in this area will be not be impacted as arrangements have been made. Detour routes have also been provided. Please use caution when in this area and obey all traffic control signs.
