Upcoming improvements to Mt Buller Service Road will make access and parking easier, following a reconstruction package set to start in April this year.
To address limited parking along the road and traffic flow issues, especially during peak snow season, Council made the decision to widen the road and provide parallel parking on its southern side, closest to Mt Buller Road.

Consultation with the affected businesses was conducted, and their feedback was incorporated into the final design.
The $437,070 ex GST package is funded from Council's capital works budget. Following a public tender process, Bells Civil Excavations was awarded the construction contract at the 20 February Council Meeting.
Mayor Cr Steve Rabie said Council continues to listen to the community to create safer and user-friendly outcomes and thanked stakeholders for participating in the design process.
"We know that good access is important to our business community, and also to their customers trying to get errands done," he said.
"Your feedback has helped us deliver important upgrades to this precinct in a way that works for users of the road and the area. We look forward to seeing this project hit the ground soon."
Works are scheduled to start on 2 April and continue for approximately 8 weeks. Further updates including details of any impacts will be provided closer to the starting date.
