South Dakota Farm Bureau (SDFB) is pleased to announce the opportunity for a farmer/rancher member to receive full tuition to participate in the South Dakota Ag and Rural Leadership (SDARL) Program.
Through its Foundation for Agriculture, under which one area of focus is Leadership Development, SDFB will provide the $4,900 tuition required for a member engaged in farming or ranching to take part in the upcoming SDARL Class, if selected by the program.
To be considered, anyone interested is asked to fill out this brief survey by March 10: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSddTTiNdRosxhdXqYCMNb79zBRBkl1CUTd7QTB41XLkctKxFA/viewform?usp=dialog
The successful applicant will be chosen by March 15 and they will still need to apply to the SDARL program by April 15. Selection for the SDFB tuition does not guarantee the applicant will be selected to participate in the SDARL program.
"Farm Bureau is very excited to offer this full tuition opportunity to a member who is interested in developing their leadership skills and learning about ways to support and strengthen South Dakota," said Krystil Smit, SDFB Executive Director. "SDFB is dedicated to providing opportunities for future leaders in agriculture and this is a way to invest in our members who are engaged in farming or ranching to take part in this unique program.
The 2-year SDARL program includes travel experiences to Washington, DC and an international trip. For more information on the SDARL program, application, time commitment and schedule, visit www.sdagleadership.com.
