ICYMI — AAPI Voters to Michelle Steel & Young Kim: Stop Putting Corporate Donors Ahead of Our Communities

Earlier this week, AAPI voters and community members protested outside the GOP's Little Saigon office, calling out Michelle Steel and Young Kim for putting Big Oil corporate donors ahead of hard-working Orange County families. Check out what voters are reading about Kim and Steel below.

In case you forgot, Kim and Steel voted to defund critical federal disaster relief funding for Californians just days before Orange County communities were hit hard by a massive oil spill. But in the meantime, both their campaigns are being funded by oil and gas companies.

The protest comes on the heels of the GOP's failed recall attempt last month, which saw majority-Vietnamese precincts in Orange County swing heavily from supporting Trump in 2020 to opposing the recall. The results confirm reports that the GOP is confronting "big trouble in Little Saigon " heading into the midterms as it struggles to win over Vietnamese American voters and setting off alarm bells for the Kim and Steel campaigns.
