Khachatur Sukiasyan: Taking into Consideration the Seismic Activeness of the Region What Programmes are Carried out in Renovating the Old Buildings?

On February 8, during the NA-Government Q&A session, the RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan, answering the question of the deputy of the Civil Contract Faction Khachatur Sukiasyan, noted: "Our main problem is that the seismic power and the further studies of the buildings constructed before do not coincide to certain extent to each other." According to the Minister, in 2019, and in 2020 legislative certain changes were made, and today in the general construction the existing norms are taken into consideration. As Gnel Sanosyan informed, at this moment, a big programme is underway: the Municipality of Yerevan proposes the builders to carry out the following programme: to destroy the emergency buildings and build new ones on their place.
