Celebrate Māori Language Week with MOTAT in partnership with Tākaro Tribe.

From 11-17 September MOTAT is celebrating te reo Māori with fun and engaging experiences for young tamariki. Enjoy daily screenings of the Tākaro Tribe series, where you'll join a family of patupaiarehe (woodland fairies) as they embark on adventures through a magical paua portal, exploring the human world and discovering everyday objects and animals.

Travel around the Museum with Manu - the augmented reality character who showcases the story of the Maramataka.

Plus heaps of opportunities for tamariki to unleash their creativity and imagination with colouring and dance with Tākaro Tribe!
