I don't like to say "I told you so," especially when it means something bad for America, but here it is.
Last December, when President Biden and Speaker Pelosi forced Congress to vote on the specific conditions for the railroad labor union negotiation, I made a prediction that it would set a terrible precedent.
Now, ports across the West Coast are shut down due to a labor strike. As a result, not only are the American goods not moving across the country, we are not able to import or export our goods abroad. The supply chain has been a mess for years now, and this is only going to make the problem worse.
But in the meantime, Florida is open for business, and I'm confident that our ports would be happy to take on the extra work, and the extra economic boost.
