U.S. SENATE - U.S. Senator Steve Daines slammed President Biden and Department of Interior Secretary Deb Haaland for the decision to move the Bureau of Land Management's headquarters from Colorado to DC.
"Because of Secretary Ryan Zinke's leadership, we finally saw the Bureau of Land Management headquartered in the West, with leadership closer to the vast majority of our federal lands and the people impacted by the Bureau's decisions. By undoing this, President Biden and Secretary Haaland are taking the Bureau in the wrong direction. Clearly, they are more interested in ballooning the DC bureaucracy than in making government work better for the people."
