The second round of CLA-negotiations easyJet

The second round of CLA-negotiations On Thursday 19th of October, we have had the second round of our CLA-negotiations. easyJet has presented a first proposal, which we have discussed. However, we have rejected this one, we are hopeful about the steps they have made. It doesn't meet our expectations so far, but they have shown us that they are serious about significant increase of income, pension, traveling costs and other subjects.

We will present a counterproposal based on the discussion and the proposal of easyJet. We will do that separately from the VNC. Let us be clear, a CLA without a serious pay structure, which is market conform according to a Dutch aviation benchmark, won't be brought up for vote. Besides that, we want to see some serious improvements, regarding the elongated duties (eg. HRG/SSH) to mitigate the work pressure on those flights.

On the 1st of November we will have the third round of the negotiations and we hope to see a good improvement from easyJet. We have set some baselines where we won't give in to, and we will give easyJet a chance to listen to the ambitions of the FNV.

Q&A's

We can imagine that you have some questions. Therefore, we will organize Q&A's. Later this week, we will send you the invite and the exact dates and times.

Bag tags

Soon, we will have our new orange coloured luggage tags and will be distributing these amongst you all whenever we run into you! We want to remind you of the cabin crew uniform standards page 20 . In short, all our luggage needs to be free of all "accessories". This page specifies the allowance of luggage tags. We promote all members to make use of their luggage tag in any way they see fit, such as on key chains, but want to emphasise not to go against the uniform standards to avoid any unwanted reprimands. If anyone does have feedback regarding the tags or states otherwise about the use of these, you can always refer them to us or management.
