Lorain County: Construction update
LORAIN COUNTY- (Thursday, May 2, 2024) -The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Lorain County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting and is subject to change.
State Route 2 Minor Rehabilitation - State Route 2, from just west of the SR 58 interchange to the Murray Ridge Road bridge, will have single lane closures for a minor rehabilitation project. Crews will be completing work at night from approximately 6:00PM to 8:00AM. Project work includes pavement repairs, asphalt paving, guardrail repairs, and bridge maintenance. Traffic will be maintained at all times. Estimated completion: September 2024State Route 162 resurfacing - NEW IMPACTS -State Route 162, from Butler Road to Firestone Road, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers when necessary.
