Huanghua Port’s Gantry Crane Intelligent Control System Won CPHA Science and Technology Award

Lately, the technological innovation project "gantry crane intelligent control system" developed by Huanghua Port under China Energy was granted the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress 2022 by the China Ports & Harbours Association (CPHA).

Through integrated use of data sensing modeling, automatic anti-swaying positioning, spatial anti-collision precaution, and other core technologies, this project was the first to achieve intelligent control of gantry cranes, providing key solutions to bulk cargo terminal automatic operation and filling in the technological void of the industry in terms of gantry crane intelligent control.

The system is a major technological innovation outcome of Huanghua Port's Chi Jinsheng Innovation Studio after a dozen years of tireless efforts. It has obtained one invention patent and six practical new-type patents and published three state-level academic papers. Rated as "domestically advanced" by state-class scientific and technological innovation assessment authority, it laid the groundwork for the company's technological self-reliance and high-quality development.
