SFPD Investigates Bayview District Homicide 24-041

On April 29, 2024, at approximately 9:33 p.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to the area of 3^rd and Quesada for a shot spotter activation.

Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers began rendering aid, including cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid as well. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders and medical personnel, the victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The SFPD Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
