Man and Woman Injured in Lake City Shooting

Police are investigating after a man and woman were injured in a drive-by shooting in Lake City late Sunday.

Just before midnight, police received multiple 911 calls about gunfire in the 11500 block of 31^st Avenue Northeast.

Officers arrived and found a man and the woman on the ground, being attended to by witnesses. The man and the woman had both sustained gunshot wounds.

Medics arrived and transported the victims to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.

Police collected evidence at the scene and learned a suspect or suspects had opened fire from a dark-colored sedan, striking the victims as they sat in their own vehicle.
