Ipswich Regent Theatre unveils the giant of all pantomimes – Jack and the Beanstalk!

Ipswich Regent Theatre plans to reach new heights this Christmas as it announces this year's festive pantomime - Jack and the Beanstalk!

With tickets going on general sale at 12pm on Friday 8 March, panto lovers are encouraged to book early for the best seats and prices.

Limited tickets for all performances start from only £15 and early bird discounts are available for those who book before the end of March.

Produced by the team behind record-breaking pantos, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan and Aladdin, Enchanted Entertainment are returning to Ipswich Regent Theatre this Christmas season to showcase the festive pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.

Promising laughter, music, and plenty of surprises, this family-friendly production tells the tale of Jack who trades his cow for some magic beans. He soon discovers the meaning of courage, friendship, and the power of believing in the extraordinary.

There will be 24 performances between Tuesday 17 to Tuesday 31 December 2024, including a British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreted performance on Friday 27 December and a Relaxed Performance on Monday 30 December. The exclusive schools performance returns on Tuesday 17 December after a sell-out show in 2023.

A limited number of £15 tickets will be available, or you can buy tickets using the code EARLYBIRD for £5 off top and second prices until midnight on Sunday 31 March 2024.

Councillor Bryony Rudkin, Ipswich Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Strategy, Culture and Customers, says:

"Following a record-breaking panto season for Sleeping Beauty last year - our most successful since 2008 - we're thrilled to announce Jack and the Beanstalk as another family-friendly production from Enchanted Entertainment.

Each Christmas our pantos bring a truly magical experience for all ages, and we're proud to be offering both British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted and relaxed performances to make our shows more inclusive.

We can't wait to welcome audiences from Ipswich and beyond to Ipswich Regent Theatre this panto season."

Tickets go on general sale at 12pm on Friday 8 March 2024 and can be booked online.

Schools and groups looking to save on tickets should contact the theatre online.
