Trade of Polymeric Products on IME

On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, the IME witnessed trade of 36,473 tonnes of polymeric products, 33,000 tonnes of lube cut (light & heavy grades), 2,680 tonnes of bitumen, 1,400 tonnes of linear alkylbenzene, 1,000 tonnes of granular sulfur and 126 tonnes of base oil on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 21,500 tonnes of steel slabs, 7,500 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets, 1,500 tonnes of copper wire, 600 tonnes of tinplate sheets, 50 tonnes of color rolled steel sheets, 50 tonnes of aluminum alloy ingots and 65 tonnes of aluminum billets traded on its metals and mineral trading floor.

IME's open auction trading floor was the next which saw trade of 79,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 21,486 tonnes of bitumen and 4,000 tonnes of sulfur lumps.

Also, the IME sold 7,385 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 800 cubic meters of raw MDF, 1,000 tonnes of iron phosphate, 110 tonnes of brass billets, 100 tonnes of phosphate concentrate and 3 tonnes of brass sheets.
