Kanematsu head office won the best Asia winner in the office design category of Office Design Over 2,000 SqM at the SBID International Design Awards 2023

The Tokyo head office of Kanematsu Corporation (hereinafter "Kanematsu") won the best Asia winner in the office design category of Office Design Over 2,000 SqM at the SBID International Design Awards 2023.

The SBID Awards are international design awards celebrated by the British Institute of Interior Design. In 2023, there were entries from approximately 90 countries around the world in 18 categories such as interior design and products. Kanematsu head office was designed by Mr. Taiju Yamashita, a designer and architect from DRAFT Inc. In September, the Office was also selected the New Promotion Award at the 36th Nikkei New Office Awards sponsored by Nihon Keizai Shimbun and the New Office Promotion Association, and received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award.

Kanematsu has identified "creating an environment that enables diverse work styles" as one of its key issues (Materiality).
