April 22, 2021 (Wall, N.J.) - New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) was named a 2021 Environmental Champion according to the Cogent Syndicated 2021 Utility Trusted Brand & Customer Engagement™: Residential study by Escalent. This is the sixth time NJNG has been recognized for its dedication to the environment since the study's inception in 2014.

'New Jersey Natural Gas takes its commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship seriously,' said Stephen Westhoven, president and CEO of New Jersey Natural Gas. 'To be recognized as an Environmental Champion and know our customers value our efforts is an honor and a credit to our entire team.'

The Environmental Dedication index score is a composite based upon consumer ratings provided across five survey questions.
