The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Commander of the Kharkiv operational group of troops in the Kharkiv region.

Brigadier General Yuri Halushkin reported to the Head of State on the operational situation in his area and the readiness to respond to potential threats from Russia.

The President presented State Awards to the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine who distinguished themselves in protecting the Kharkiv region and the Bakhmut area.

In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented awards to police officers and rescue workers who responded heroically to the aftermath of the Russian attacks on Kharkiv.

"I am honored to be here today. Things are not easy for Kharkiv. But thanks to strong people like you, there is still life here. And I am confident that there will be a victory for Kharkiv and our entire country," the President emphasized.
