ESU Women’s Rugby Places Fifth at National Tournament

East Stroudsburg University's women's rugby club team traveled to Boyds, Maryland to compete in the Collegiate Rugby National 7's April 27-28.

The team beat Baldwin Wallace 22-15 in the first round before losing to Niagara 15-10 in the quarterfinals.

The loss dropped the Warriors down to a second bracket where they beat Missouri S&T, 22-10, and Siena, 22-0, to finish fifth.

Morgan Mattia, a senior majoring in biology from Morgantown, Pa., was named to the All-Tournament Team.
