On September 7, 2024, at approximately 10:31 a.m., State Police members responded to a two-car serious personal injury accident involving a State Police vehicle located on U.S. Highway 11 in the town of Potsdam.

U.S. Highway 11 in the town of Potsdam is shut down.

This is an ongoing investigation.

State Police are being assisted by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, Potsdam Police Department, Potsdam Fire and Rescue, and Canton Fire and Rescue.
