Highlights of 2024 'Invest in Beijing' Conference

On April 25, the 2024 "Invest in Beijing" Conference was held during the 2024 Zhongguancun (ZGC) Forum. It featured attendees from domestic and international investment and trade institutions, international commerce associations, and leading figures from Fortune Global 500 and top industry companies.

The conference highlighted industrial investment in the field of sci-tech innovation. The conference announced a total of 231 investment cooperation projects across four categories: park cooperation, building cooperation, land financing, and enterprise financing, with a total investment of CNY 90.221 billion. These projects span several vital sectors such as new-generation information technology, medicine and healthcare, intelligent manufacturing and equipment, technology services, integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, green energy, energy conservation, and environmental protection. At the signing ceremony of the conference, 23 key projects were signed, amounting to a total investment of CNY 61.006 billion, across 11 major industrial fields.

This year's conference also introduced, for the first time, an area for enterprise exhibitions and investment consultation discussions. More than 100 enterprises from Beijing's key industries, such as new-generation information technology and biomedicine, and over 20 government industrial funds and social capital joined the face-to-face discussions.
