196 bankruptcies in week 17

During the week from 22 to 28 April included (week 17), the business courts pronounced 196 bankruptcies, resulting in a total of 496 job losses.

So the figures for week 17 reveal a decrease in the number of bankruptcies and job losses compared to the previous week.

During the first 17 weeks of 2024, the business courts pronounced 3,708 bankruptcies. This figure is 10.3% higher than in the first 17 weeks of 2023 and 26.8% higher than in the same weeks of 2022.

Job losses amount to 12,329 in 2024, an increase of 15.5% compared to 2023 and of 68.2% compared to 2022.
