We are proud to announce that Palm Beach County has been awarded the 2023-24 Platinum Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health by Mental Health America (MHA). The Bell Seal is a first-of-its-kind workplace mental health certification that recognizes employers who strive to create mentally healthy workplaces for their employees.

In collaboration with the U.S. Department of Labor, Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention and national companies, MHA is committed to furthering worker safety, health and well-being alongside leading health and advocacy organizations. In addition to organizational expertise and research-informed practices, MHA works with national leaders in workplace mental health to continuously refine the Bell Seal program.

The Bell Seal recognizes employer advances in workplace mental health by awarding bronze, silver, gold and platinum recognition levels. Palm Beach County underwent a rigorous evaluation of its policies and practices in four areas: workplace culture, benefits, compliance and wellness programs. The county's status as a Bell Seal-certified organization demonstrates the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners' ongoing commitment to employee mental health and well-being.

Palm Beach County is committed to providing the best for its employees and looks forward to continued work to ensure upholding the standards set forth by the Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health.
