Teacher Workshop to explore North Dakota trade and transportation history

BISMARCK, N.D. - The State Historical Society of North Dakota is offering a free teacher workshop, "Trade and Transportation in North Dakota," Aug. 13 and 14 at the Interpretive Center of the Chateau de Morès State Historic Site near Medora.

Attendees will learn about various trade and transportation methods used throughout North Dakota history and the direct tie between them. This workshop will equip educators to deliver North Dakota Studies curriculum and introduce them to learning opportunities at state historic sites and museums. Teachers of all grade levels will walk away with content and lessons for the upcoming school year.
