Job Opportunity: Head of Administration at the Arctic Council Secretariat

Requirements

In accordance with the ACS staff rules, article 5.2, an applicant for this position must be a citizen of one of the eight Arctic States (Canada, Kingdom of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, United States, Sweden, Russian Federation and Norway).

Terms and remuneration

The appointment is to be made for a four-year contract with a six-month probation period. The contract may be prolonged for up to four additional years (eight in total) if in the interest of the Arctic Council.

The annual salary will be in accordance with the ACS salary schedule A level 3 of the ACS Staff Rules based on professional experience and qualifications. Membership in the Norwegian social security scheme as well as a private pension scheme will be provided.
