Professor Nikolaos Donos awarded the EFP Distinguished Scientist Award by the European Federation of Peridontology

Professor Nikolaos Donos, Professor and Chair Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, Director of Research, Director Centre for Oral Clinical Research, received his EFP Distinguished Scientist Award at the European Federation of Peridontology (EFP) general assembly in Zagreb, Croatia on 13 April 2024.

The EFP was founded in 1991, and is a federation of 38 national periodontal societies that represents more than 16,000 periodontists, dentists, researchers and oral-health professionals from Europe and around the world. It pursues evidence-based science in periodontal and oral health, promoting events and campaigns aimed at both professionals and the public.
