Hripsime Grigoryan meets with representatives of Foreign Ministry of Sweden

On April 11, the Head of the Armenia-Sweden Friendship Group of the National Assembly Hripsime Grigoryan met with the delegation led by the Head of Division for Eastern Europe of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden Emil Gelebo.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to the Republic of Armenia Patrik Svensson attended the meeting.

Welcoming the guests, Hripsime Grigoryan evaluated the cooperation with Sweden in many spheres. In deepening of inter-parliamentary ties, the deputy highlighted the effective collaboration of the Friendship Groups.

At the meeting reference was also made to the expansion of the Armenian-Swedish cooperation in the RA-EU framework.

The Head of the Friendship Group highly appreciated the support of the Swedish Government to the agenda of democratic reforms in Armenia. In this context Hripsime Grigoryan underscored the importance of the Modern Parliament for a Modern Armenia Project aimed at the development of the capacities of the RA National Assembly, which was carried out by the support of Sweden.
