Aramark Volunteers Participate in Annual Day of Service
May 3, 2024More than 4,000 Aramark employees volunteered to participate in the company's annual day of service, Aramark Building Community Day (ABC Day), which took place May 2.
The annual ABC Day included nearly 110 community service projects in 13 countries worldwide. Project included skill development workshops, playground improvements, nutritional education, and tree planting. Since its inception in 2014, more than 55,000 employees have volunteered to participate in ABC Day, giving back to almost 2 million community members.
"In an extension of our year-round efforts to strengthen local communities, we unite our employees around the world on one day, and encourage them to dedicate their time, energy, and expertise to service projects in their local neighborhoods," said Jami Leveen, Aramark vice president of community partnerships. "In the first ten years, nearly 55,000 employees have volunteered on ABC Day, and we are overwhelmed and humbled by the thousands of employees who have stepped up to volunteer this year."
