Hayward’s North Carolina Facilities Awarded Highly Protected Risk (HPR) Status

Clemmons and Mocksville facilities recognized for meeting highest property protection industry standards

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - December 21, 2023 - Hayward Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HAYW) ("Hayward" or the "Company"), a global designer, manufacturer, and marketer of a broad portfolio of pool and outdoor living technology, announced today that its operations facilities in Clemmons and Mocksville, N.C., were awarded Highly Protected Risk (HPR) status by Factory Mutual Insurance Company ("FM Global"), a leading commercial property insurer of the world's largest businesses. Recognized for meeting the highest property protection industry standards, Hayward was presented the awards during ceremonies in Clemmons and Mocksville.

A facility recognized with HPR status has implemented all reasonable loss prevention measures to protect buildings, equipment and contents from losses, including those caused by natural hazards. This includes having critical human element programs established, sprinkler protection, proactive change management plans, and no FM Global recommendations with large loss expectancies.

Hayward's Clemmons facility reached HPR status by reducing hazards, shielding areas from sprinklers, and implementing well documented and managed human element procedures. The Company's Mocksville distribution center reached status after building out its fire protection and storage arrangements.

Hayward's facilities in Phoenix, Ariz., Oakville, Ontario, and Wuxi, China also hold HPR status.
