Regent University Enactus Earns a Win at National Competition

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (May 22, 2024) - Regent University Enactus brought home the Team Spirit Award from the 2024 Enactus USA Expo held May 13-15, at the University of Texas at Austin.

Each year, students, academics, and entrepreneurial leaders from across the country attend the Enactus USA Expo to showcase inventive business projects and the extraordinary level of impact that these young entrepreneurs and innovators have had on their communities. The honors from the annual event include the Team Spirit Award, which is presented to the team that demonstrates the most collaborative attitude and uplifting spirit.

"This award is very special to us, since our team prayer was for people to see the light and love of Christ in us as we travel and compete in this secular conference," said Dr. Olga Moseley, College of Arts & Sciences Instructor and Faculty Co-Advisor for Regent's Enactus team. "This experience allowed our team to introduce unique entrepreneurial concepts as ambassadors of faith, which resulted in a display of impressive social benefits to the world as well as a win."

Enactus, or "Entrepreneurial Action in Us," is the world's largest experiential learning platform dedicated to developing the next generation of entrepreneurs and social innovators while fostering rewarding student connections.

Regent Enactus, a student-led effort, is comprised of exceptional student artists and animators who create fun, educational comic books designed to engage and inspire children and high schoolers to solve real-world problems.

This recent win has Regent's young innovators excited about what God has in store for their next academic year as they continue to create a better, more sustainable global community as Christian Leadership to Change the World.
