Stratford Dr., Meridian, ID 83642 (208) 846-7550 Fax (208) 846-7520 For Immediate Release: 03/19/24 04:00 a.m. Please direct questions to the District Office Idaho State Police are investigating a one vehicle collision that occurred Monday, March 18, 2024, at 10:41 p.m., westbound I84 at milepost 29 in Canyon County. A 66-year-old male, from New Plymouth, Idaho was westbound in a 1999 Ford F350 pickup, pulling a 2002 Star horse trailer. At milepost 29 the pickup hit an impact attenuator. The driver lost control of the vehicle, hit the median barrier then hit a sign on the right shoulder. The male driver was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. The number two westbound lane on I84 was closed for approximately two hours. The Idaho State Police was assisted by the Canyon County Sheriffs Office, the Canyon County Paramedics and the Idaho Transportation Department.
