While the hunt for a new job can be its own 9-5, it doesn't have to drive you crazy. Let the Lewiston City Library help.

The job market can feel like an uncharted ocean, especially for those re-entering the workforce. Online applications, resumes, cover letters, and the whole interview process can be overwhelming. As another reminder that libraries are more than just books, Lewiston Library provides patrons access to a multitude of online and virtual resources that can help individuals looking for work jumpstart their careers. Just take a look at what we've got:

There's also virtual and in person job search training with the Lewiston City Library's partnership with WorkSourceWA:
This career boosting program is in person and virtual. Sessions are each Wednesday in the Library Community Room from 11AM to 12:30PM. Each session covers a job related topic from building resumes and cover letters, to nailing your interview and getting the job you've always wanted. Can't come in person? Just head over to the Lewiston City Library's Adult Programming Page and click the zoom link provided.
Finally, sometimes life throws curve balls at us and we have to leave the job market, for numerous reasons. Sometimes re-entry into the workforce is harder than some might think. That's why there's Find Help Idaho. Find Help Idaho allows any Idaho resident seeking re-entry into the workforce get back on their feet. The website is easy to navigate and allows individuals to filter down what they are looking for to find exactly what they need, even if it isn't a job. Find Help Idaho offers resources on food, housing, health care, transportation, and legal aid as well.
