‘Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights’ at Merrion Square Park sold out!

Dublin City Council would like to announce that all the general admission tickets for 'Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights' at Merrion Square Park have now sold out in record time.

The tickets, which cost €2 each for adults, went on sale last Friday. Each adult ticket admits two children.

This is the 3rd year of 'Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights' at Merrion Square Park and the Council is delighted that the event has become so popular with the public.

There are still some Relaxed Viewing Tickets available for people who will benefit from a more relaxed environment, including those who identify as neurodiverse. During this slot, no music will be played, people will have more space to move around and there will be a designated sensory unit away from the lights and sounds. 5pm to 5.30pm on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday evenings will be reserved for Relaxed Viewing Tickets. For more information and ticket enquiries for relaxed performances, please e-mail [email protected]

If you missed out on tickets for Merrion Square Park, you can still enjoy 'Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights' during the month of December for free. 12 other locations all over the city centre will be transformed for the month with colourful projections and lighting displays, including for the first time, Bank of Ireland College Green and the Central Bank Plaza. See www.dublinwinterlights.iefor more information.

A Childrens Art Competition for Primary School Children is also taking place as part of 'Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights'. All artwork will be projected onto Barnardo Square beside Dublin Castle. 3 winning artworks will receive a prize from the Lord Mayor and their artwork will be used on the Lord Mayor's Christmas Cards this year.
