Rocket Dining Expanding Student Meal Plans in Fall
University of Toledo students will have new meal plan options to select from for their fall 2024 experience. Rocket Dining is expanding student meal plans based on feedback from students.
"Our new meal plan options have been developed using over two years of student surveys, focus groups and collaboration with student leaders in UToledo's Dining Committee," said Aaron Skees, director of marketing for Rocket Dining. "They represent the key areas of feedback shared with us: flexibility and freedom. We're excited for Rockets to utilize these meal plans that they had such a large hand in creating."
Beginning fall 2024 semester, incoming freshman and on-campus sophomore students will choose between the Diamond, Platinum and Gold meal plans. Off-campus students and on-campus students with junior status and above will choose between the Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze meal plans.
The Diamond meal plan includes:
• 185 Meal Swipes
• $1,200 Dining Dollars
• 5 Guest Meal Swipes
• Any meal swipe can be used as a meal exchange
The Platinum meal plan includes:
• 155 Meal Swipes
• $800 Dining Dollars
• 5 Guest Meal Swipes
• Any meal swipe can be used as a meal exchange
The Gold meal plan includes:
• 165 Meal Swipes
• $400 Dining Dollars
• 5 Guest Meal Swipes
• Any meal swipe can be used as a meal exchange
The Silver meal plan includes:
• 75 Meal Swipes
• $900 Dining Dollars
• 5 Guest Meal Swipes
• Any meal swipe can be used as a meal exchange
The Bronze meal plan includes:
• 75 Meal Swipes
• $150 Dining Dollars
• 5 Guest Meal Swipes
• Any meal swipe can be used as a meal exchange
To kickoff the new meal plan options, Rocket Dining will host information tables beginning Monday, April 22. Students may enter to win a Diamond meal plan giveaway for fall 2024 by visiting the information tables at one of three sessions:
• Monday, April 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Eatery @ Thompson Student Union.
• Wednesday, April 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Food Hall @ Ottawa East.
• Friday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Chick-fil-A in Thompson Student Union.
