Salt Flat, Texas - Guadalupe Mountains National Park will open opportunities for group campsite reservations for the Pine Springs and Dog Canyon group sites on Recreation.gov on July 27, 2021. Visitors will be able to make group site reservations up to 6 months in advance online by this date. This is the first time that Guadalupe Mountains has used an online reservation system for visitors to reserve campsites. The park will be moving toward offering other campsites and backcountry sites later in 2021-2022. These dates have not been determined by the park.
Guadalupe Mountains National Park has three group sites in the park. Group sites #1 and #2 at Pine Springs and a single group campsite is available at Dog Canyon.
