Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with the Executive Secretary of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific

On June 5, 2023, Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan met with Ms. Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana, Executive Secretary of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation and prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and the Commission, as well as topics related to food security, transport, green economy, disaster risk reduction, water and climate, especially Tajikistan's new initiative on glacier's preservation. During the meeting, issues of strengthening cooperation in various areas of mutual interest were also discussed.
