Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2024-1000-0303 Dual Track Snow Machines with Trail Groomers

PURPOSE OF THE ITB: The Department of Natural Resources, Parks & Outdoor Recreation, is soliciting bids for two twin-tracked snow machines with electronic controlled groomer attachments for our operations in Nancy Lake State Recreation Area and Denali State Park for trail maintenance and grooming. In both locations, deep snow and challenging terrain that requires large utility sleds to perform the necessary trail maintenance and grooming operations and will maintain sufficient float and operate consistently throughout the winter season.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: In order for a bid to be considered responsive the bidder must meet these minimum requirements:

Snowmobile: (2 units)

  • 12 Valve 1.2L engine 3 cylinder in line 4 stroke,
  • 1199 cc,
  • 2 Twin 20" wide tracks 156" length,
  • Composite plastic skis extra wide HD-PE skin,
  • Disc brakes,
  • 12V electrical system hi-output alternator,
  • CVT automatic transmission.

Groomer: (2 units)

  • 98" grooming width,
  • Full electric operation 3 wire operation,
  • Classic track setter (1) with gas spring pre-load with electric controls,
  • Tiller - 12V DC electric unit,
  • Wheeling system included standard.

Freight

  • Freight must be included in bid. Units must be shipped to Nancy Lake State Recreation Area at Mile Post 2, Nancy Lake Parkway, Willow, Alaska 99688.

A bidder's failure to meet these minimum prior experience requirements will cause their bid to be considered non-responsive and rejected.
